Tilde Schweitzer
Tilde Schweitzer is a trombonist and one of Sweden’s most acclaimed young jazz musicians. She moves effortlessly between the worlds of jazz and pop and has collaborated with artists such as Benjamin Ingrosso, Darin and Magnus Uggla. With roots in traditional jazz and a strong drive to explore new expressions, she represents a clear voice for a new generation of jazz musicians.

Hans Backenroth
Double bassist Hans Backenroth is, with his hard-swinging playing, warm sound, and lyrical solos, one of the leading bassists in Scandinavia. He has performed with artists such as Bengt Hallberg, Arne Domnérus, Monica Zetterlund, Bernt Rosengren, and Ulf Wakenius, as well as international names including Clark Terry, Kenny Barron, Eddie Daniels, and Toots Thielemans. Hans has contributed to around 200 recordings, four of which are under his own name. He has received several awards, most recently the Christer Boustedt Scholarship. Hans has been part of the jazz concerts at Skansen since 1995, and for the past ten years has served as bandleader.

Leo Lindberg
Leo Lindberg is one of the foremost representatives of the younger jazz generation and has already performed with many of Sweden’s leading jazz figures, including Bernt Rosengren, Amanda Sedgwick and Nisse Sandström. Leo has completed acclaimed tours both in Sweden and internationally and released several albums, most recently LIVE! Vol.1 (2025) and Hyllningar & Hommager (2025). Leo has received recognition through several awards and scholarships, including the soloist prize in the Young Nordic Jazz Comets competition and the Louis Armstrong and Monica Zetterlund scholarships.

Joakim Ekberg
Drummer Joakim Ekberg has worked as a professional musician since the age of 14. He has toured worldwide, contributed to numerous recordings and collaborated with both Swedish and international jazz musicians such as Ernie Watts, Kjell Öhman, Georgie Fame, Scott Hamilton and Jojje Wadenius. He is also the drummer in Trio X, which has released several acclaimed albums – most recently the personal album Trust (2025). In addition to his work as a musician, Joakim Ekberg is an educator, teaching at the School of Music in Piteå, Framnäs Folk High School and SMI in Stockholm, and he also runs his own drum school.
