Celebrate Sweden's National Day with us on 6 June! A day filled with games, music and traditional dancing around the maypole.

Information
On Sweden’s National Day, traffic on Djurgården is affected due to the royal motorcade to Skansen. The tram is canceled and so is bus 67. The best way to get to Djurgården this day is on foot, by bike or by ferry (SL) to the Allmänna Gränd stop.

Before the evening's stage program
All guests will be searched when they enter the stage area at Sollidenplan. To make admission easier, larger baggage should be left at home. No bags larger than 40 x 40 x 20 cm are permitted.

Flag workshop and face painting

Folk dance performance
Tingsvallen stage 14.00
Experience Swedish folk dance traditions as Skansen’s folk dance group performs a variety of dances accompanied by music from Skansen’s folk musicians.

Swedish choral music
Seglora Church 13.00 & 14.30
Eken’s Vocal Ensemble explores Swedish choral music in the atmospheric setting of Seglora Church. The concert lasts approximately 30 minutes and is included in your admission ticket.

Traditional games from the past
Hazelius Meadow
Walk on stilts, roll hoops, race in sacks and jump rope, play marbles and traditional sailor games!
